The husband loves pain, torture and team work. Thus, when he told me he was planning to run the Tough Mudder with some classmates, I wasn’t at all surprised. The Tough Mudder has quickly become one of the trendiest obstacle course races around. It also happens to support an outstanding cause: The Wounded Warrior Project. And, because of it’s fast growing popularity, it has helped to raise more than $3 million dollars for this worthy cause. It’s easy to donate–and you don’t have to run to support this important charity. Your donation helps thousands of injured soldiers returning home from current conflicts and to provides assistance to their families.
Of course, on the day DH decided to run, it was raining, and miserable. An already muddy farm became a mud-soaked swamp–and though the Boy and I were only spectators, we got one heck of a workout just trying to watch! I thought you’d love to see some of the photos from the event!
